Dr. Yashpal Singh completed M.Tech in Biotechnology from G.B. Pant Engineering College, Pauri Garhwal. He earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor, Biotechnology at Amrapali University, Haldwani. Earlier he worked as Assistant Professor, Biotechnology at School of Applied and Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. He has also worked as a Young Scientist/Principal investigator in a DST, Govt of India funded project under the Scheme for Young Scientists and Technologists at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. His area of research expertise is Microbial Biotechnology and Vaccinology. He has published more than15 research articles in journals of national and international repute along with several book chapters and popular articles in various magazines. He is also bestowed with 05 awards at national and International conferences including Young Scientist award at USSTC 2018 organized by Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology, Dehradun and Best Ph.D. thesis award.

Dr. Yashpal Singh has published more than 15 research papers in journals of national and international repute. He has also published 2 books entitled “Pandemics: History, Causes and Impacts” and “Guidelines for Poultry farming” and many book chapters, popular articles and success stories in reputed magazines.

Dr. Yashpal Singh is a prolific researcher. He has published more than 15 research papers in journals of national and international repute. He has various books, book chapters and popular articles to his credit. He has experience of handling research project funded by DST, Govt of India as Principal Investigator/Scientist and is a member of various reputed professional societies (Society of Biological Chemists, Society for Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Society of Immunology and Immunopathology). He has also served as a peer reviewer for many Scopus indexed journals.
