Dr. Vandana Bisht is currently working as an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the department of Faculty of Technology and Computer Applications(FTCA) at Amrapali Institutes, Haldwani. She received her Ph.D. with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer science from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Uttarakhand. Before joining Amrapali Institute she worked as an assistant professor at Sri Ram Murti College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly, UP. She has taught various core subjects of applied mathematics in engineering and computer applications courses at diploma, undergraduate, and master levels. Her area of research interests are computational fluid dynamics, numerical methods, and optimization techniques. She has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience.

She has attended several national and international level conferences and workshops of her research interest. She has published 12 research papers in refereed journals and conferences of international and national repute.

She has served as a reviewer of several conferences in her research area. Other than teaching and research she has also headed and worked as a member of different committees at the institute level
