Dr. Ravi Shankar Prasad is the Dean for the Faculty of Technology and Computer Application at Amrapali University Haldwani. He has led Department of Mechanical Engineering, at JK Lakshmipat University Jaipur for more than four years and Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology Ghaziabad for more than five years. He also worked at KIET-Ghaziabad, HCST-Mathura, BIT-Sindri, BITs-Pilani and handled various academic and administrative responsibilities. He has taken proactive initiatives to bridge gap between industry and institute and generated several opportunities for faculty and students to learn through hand-on experience. He is into academics and administrative work for more than 25 year.

With more than 25 years of experience he has been involved with the research work in the field of Materials, Manufacturing, and Vibration and published more than 50 research papers. He has also authored several books and international book chapters and patents. He has also guided a number of M Tech dissertations and PhD thesis. He is also involved with various sponsored projects funded by Industry/MSME.
