Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Singh is the Head of Department and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and an M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Design and Production Engineering from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Additionally, he earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Dr. Singh received the prestigious Best Thesis Master Award-2019 in Mechanical Engineering (Design and Production Engineering) from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. etc. He has taught different subjects incuding but not limited to strength of materials, theory of machines, materials science, engineering mechanics etc. With over 15 years of combined experience in teaching and research, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.

Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Singh has a prolific publication record, with over 20 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers to his credit. Additionally, he has actively participated in more than 15 workshops, seminars, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), further showcasing his dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

With over 15 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Singh's research interests lie primarily in composite materials, stress analysis, and the application of the finite element method. He focuses on developing and investigating various properties of composite materials, aiming to enhance their performance and applicability in engineering applications.
